Benefits and Leaves

As a UC employee, you are eligible for a wide range of generous benefit plans. These include health, dental and vision, as well as retirement savings and insurance options.

Whether you are a new employee getting acquainted with your options, or an existing employee looking for coverage to meet new needs, our Benefits, Health, and Welfare guide can help you find what you’re looking for.

New employees have a limited time to enroll in some benefit options, so taking advantage of your benefit options is a critical first step. Our guide helps to map out benefits options for new employees with sections covering benefits offered, enrollment, ergonomics, life changes, workers' comp/disability and retirement. We’ll also explore how you can sign up.
